For more than 25 years the Chair of Visual Computing researches methods for the generation, processing and analysis of images and 3D-models. This includes disciplines such as computer graphics, visualization, geometry processing, virtual reality, computer vision, or 3d reconstruction.
Laura will present her work on "LumiPath – Towards Real-time Physically-based Rendering on Embedded Devices" at the 22nd International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention in Shenzhen in October.
Daniel will present his and Roberto's work on "Discrete Mesh Optimization on Surface and Volume Meshes" and "Parallel Reconstruction of Quad Only Meshes from Volume Data" at the 28th International Meshing Roundtable in Buffalo in October.
Darius and Lucas will present their papers "A Light-weight SLAM Pipeline for Dense Reconstruction" and "Compiling VR/AR-Trainings from Business Process Models" at the International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality in Beijing in October.
