We are excited to announce that we have two papers at CVPR 2023!

The first one is a novel pseudo-linear inverse kinematic solver for 3D reconstruction of humans from 2D images and videos. The paper was selected as a highlight – top 2.5% of CVPR submissions. This work was lead by Karthik Shetty from the Pattern Recognition Lab and in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers. Paper:

The second is a novel occlusion-aware analysis-by-synthesis method for 3D reconstruction of faces from 2D images. This work was lead by Chunlu Li from the Southeast University, China who was visiting at University of Basel and also visited our chair at FAU. Paper:
